The Restoration of our 1972 E-Type

The Restoration of our 1972 E-Type

This shot shows the V12 engine going back in after a long rebuild process. I had the heads rebuilt at a machine shop, using all new valves, springs, guides etc. All of the engine assembly work was done by me. Special thanks to Gary Hagopians' "cigar box tappet shim" collection. That saved me weeks for sure. I rebuilt everything on the engine, including alternator, PS pump, water pump, etc. While the transmission was out, I had that rebuilt by an outside shop. It was working fine but wanted everything "new & fresh".
